A brand based out of Pune focussed on repurposing “Impossible-to-Recycle “ plastics like multi-layer plastics into functional and classy sunglasses.
Problem
Current packaging solutions for sunglasses include the use of synthetic micro-fibre cloth for cleaning the lenses. These not only have limited recyclability, but also release harmful micro plastics into the environment.
Along with this, the ink used for printing brand logos and other information contains heavy metals and VOCs which is also non-sustainable.
Solution
We provided them with 100% sustainable and environment-friendly pouches made with 100% bamboo-fabric which is ideal for cleaning of the lenses.
Along with this, we also printed their logo with “ The Good Ink “ , a plant-based alternative to the standard toxic inks.
Impact
With every micro-fibre cloth replaced for “ Without “ , we managed to prevent thousands of micro-plastics from entering our water-bodies and landfill
